APRIL 11, 1689:
Shortly after the Dutch King William III (better known as William of Orange) was proclaimed King Of England, Ireland and Scotland, he made gin. Gin is a traditionally Dutch drink, but popular with the British people.
Gin 1689 is a gin that fuses English and Dutch culture together, produced by one of Holland’s oldest distillers and based on a 350 year old recipe.

We design tables made out of book spines.
Custom-designed tables with unique and personal stories.
The tabletop can be placed in two different positions. You can turn it around if you want a change. In one position, the book spine is visible. In the other, the cut pages show. Scroll down to see both sides of the story. ; )
We work with diverse themes (cookbooks, travel books, children books, everything concerning economy, gardening, nature, etc.) and in the same colour range (all white, blue, green or black spines, a mix of colours, etc.)
Material: books, epoxy
Frame and legs: steel or wood

Together with the Chocolate Explorers, we created the identity and package designs. The illustrations are based on ultimate heavenly feelings.
The Explorers are one of the few bean-to-bar chocolate makers in the Netherlands. They love to make the journey through the world of cocoa and chocolate, in search of unique tastes and stories behind fair trade cocoa.
Their extraordinary tastes:
1. D.A.R.C. Angel (dark)
2. The Stardust (milk)
3. Natural Blonde (blonde chocolate, not white)
4. Mystery dark (dark with a secret ingrediënt)
5. Swingin Sunrise (dancing dark)
They even made cheese with cocoa nibs.
